QUESTION:

Hello Shane

I have a CBS-31Pap. When the water runs into the filter basket it is a single stream and does not saturate the coffee grounds. We use twice as many grounds as should be necessary and get a very weak brew even then. How do I remedy this?

Tony,

This sounds like your spray head p/n 23104 is missing or broken. If you look up where the water comes from you should see what we call a spray cutter. (It looks kind of like a wagon wheel) I should be black, tan, or clear in color; if it is missing all you will see is a white disc with a hole in the center. This would account for your problem. Replace the spray cutter and you are back in business.

Note: Spray cutter is installed from inside of brewer. If you need assistance with this, please let me know.
